Author’s note: I just got a different computer and monitor. The resolution on the new monitor is different, so if you notice sims looking different or the screenshots seeming to be a different size then before that is because I am still figuring out the new computer. On the plus side the game loads super fast. Anyway, on with the story.
On my way home from graduation, I realized that the llama fair was happening in Finchwick. I quickly feed Curly a Veggie treat.
Then got him all brushed and clean.
Before heading into town to enter him in the fair. I also entered some of his wool in the contest.
Curly’s won a first place ribbon at the fair. I also got a bonsai bud and learned the recipe for making spicy treats.
The next morning, I got up and harvest honey for the first time since getting the bees. I have been trying to bond with them in an effort to avoid getting stung.
I heard the flea market was in town, so decided to take a trip to the city. I was thrilled to find someone selling MySims Trophies. He had several that we needed for the family collection.
We only need two more and the collection will be complete.
Back at home I spent time teaching more tricks to Bentley. He can know play dead and speak.
Then I spent some time playing with Dillon. He is a very independent cat and is often off exploring the property on his own.
Then I spent some time with Daisy. I recently knitted her this amazing sweater. I can’t wait for the cow competition in a few weeks. She is going to win for sure.
I have become so close to all the wild rabbits that they have started bringing me gifts.
The most recent gift was a cat cross-stitch pattern. Seeing as I have the cat lover trait, I had to start on the cross-stitch pattern right away. Unfortunately, I kept stabbing my finger and decided to take a break.
But I did manage to complete my aspiration.
To celebrate both my graduation and first completed aspiration, Bentley and I took a vacation to Granite Falls.
I did a little fishing.
I found a couple more frogs.
And spent a lot of time trying to catch insects.
By the last day of my vacation I had managed to catch several different types of insects.
On my last night I called up Michael Bell and asked him to meet me in Granite Falls. We enjoyed a fun night of tent woohoo.
As soon as I returned from vacation I went to see Eliah.
“I just graduated with my biology degree from Britechester University. I really want to become a veterinarian. I already maxed the pet training skill, completed the country caretaker aspiration, and have 2 level to veterinarian skill. I would be on the last level of the “friends with the animals” aspiration but my pets are so well behaved I don’t have any misbehavior to improve. I guess all of that is my way of telling you my qualifications and asking for a job.”
“I have actually been hoping to hire a second vet for awhile now,” Eliah said. “Can you start today?”
“Absolutely!” I replied.
Eliah gave me a uniform. Of course the first thing I had to do was take a selfie in front of the vet clinic.
For my first day, Eliah started me off slow. I spent my shift greeting animals and cleaning up messes.
The next morning I woke up feeling awful. I was so incredibly nauseous. I also realized that since Michael joining me in Granite Falls wasn’t planned our woohoo had been a little on the risky side.
I decided to take a pregnancy test just to be safe and was shocked when it came back positive. I can’t believe I am going to have a baby.

Catherine needs to have three pregnancies, so I had the wheel determine when she would get pregnant with her first child.
Options: Young Adult while at University, Young Adult after University, or As an Adult

Wheel Spin 2
Catherine is Aromatic and doesn’t feel romantically about other sims. However, she is still physically attracted to male sims and enjoys woohoo. She is currently woohoo partners with Michael Bell but that didn’t mean he had to be the father of her child. So for the wheel spin this week I asked:
Who should be the father of Catherine’s three children?
Options: I decided to use same three options as I did for her woohoo partners – Creature Keeper, Local Vet, or Farm/Ranch Hand. But since there were three potential partners on the list and she needs three pregnancies, I decided last minute to add all of the above to the list.
Winner: I can’t believe it! The wheel actually landed on “All of the above.” REALLY!! I just added that as a long shot. That means that each of Catherine’s kids will be from a different woohoo partner.

I thought about spinning to see who should father her child first but since she is already woohoo partners with the creature keeper (Michael Bell) I decided to just have it be him. I don’t see Catherine having multiple woohoo partners at the same time. But knowing that each baby will have a different father I decided to ask:
Who will be the father or our Gen 5 heir?
Option: Creature Keeper, Local Vet, or Farm/Ranch Hand
Winner: Farm/Ranch Hand – I am actually really happy with this result as it means using the new “hire ranch hand option” in Horse Ranch
